I’m sooo nervous

I’ve been working on my website and getting my merch together for a while now. I’m getting close to launching day and I’m sooo nervous! What if yall don’t like it? What if my designs are not designing? These are the questions that live rent free in my head!

What helped me was reminding myself that those feelings meant I cared deeply about my work and the community I wanted to reach. Designing merch that resonates with a specific audience, like surgical tech students and professionals, requires thoughtful creativity. I focused on creating designs that celebrated our unique profession, hoping to connect through shared experiences. Testing initial designs with close friends or peers can provide invaluable feedback, easing some of those fears about whether others will like them. Marketing to a niche like #surgicaltech means understanding the community's values and interests. Engaging with forums, hashtags, and social media groups helped me gauge what people genuinely appreciate in merch and apparel, which guided my design choices. If you’re like me and feel nervous before a launch, try channeling that energy into connecting with your audience authentically. Share your story, show sneak peeks, and invite feedback. This involvement not only builds anticipation but also helps refine your products in real time. Ultimately, every launch comes with its uncertainties, but embracing the journey and being open to learning from it turns those nerves into motivation. I'm excited to put my passion out there and hope my merch brings a sense of pride and community to surgical tech professionals everywhere.
