How to write a plan... not just a "good-looking plan" but a plan that children have actually learned?

We have spent a lot of time writing and adjusting the lesson plan.

And the more you do... the more questions 🤔

Activity we think is good. Can children do it?

Will what we wrote in the plan really happen in the classroom?

How can the judges see "children's learning" from what we can do?

Must admit that

This third time, we still have a lot to learn.

Something reads from the guidelines.

Some studies from the example of other teachers.

Something, try to design yourself.

And there's a lot of...

It's done. Retake it down. 😂

But one thing that's getting clearer and clearer is

📌 Do not start with the question "What activities are you going to do?"

Let's go back and ask...

👉 After this period, what do we want to see children do?

Then slowly reverse the design.

🎯 Purpose - What does a child need to know / do?

🎲 Activity - Has the child embarked and used real knowledge?

🗣️ Learning Behavior - What do we see during a child's study?

📝 Evaluation - How do we know the child actually did it?

📸 Evidence - Is there anything that reflects a learner's development?

During this time, we tried to adjust the plan from

❌ "What will the teacher teach?"

To become

✅ "What will children think, speak, do and learn?"

For Our Own English Classroom

Many children are still not very confident in speech.

So we tried to design activities for children to start with simple things.

There's a helper.

Trained with friends

Have played the game

And gradually increase children's chances of using English themselves.

But here we are still in the experimental and learning phase. 😊

Didn't think that what we do now is the best way

And it doesn't mean our plan is all right.

Because sometimes...

What's written in the plan versus what's actually happening in the classroom.

Could be a different story. 😅

Therefore want to use the area of this series as

"One Teacher's Travel Notebook"

We'll gradually share that.
