🎀 productivity apps you need to try!

‧°𐐪♡𐑂°‧₊

📱🎀 here are some free productivity apps you can check out to help optimise productivity (for habits, regulating emotions and tasks). Check them out below 👇🏼

⋆˚✿˖° daylio mood diary 🎧

This is a daily mood tracker app! The good news is, is that it’s available for free for both android and iOS! The interface is really cute and easy to use, as you can use tags to categorise your days and view how many days you’ve had with a specific tag. Journalling is really important for mental health and ensuring productivity can be retained in the long-term ✨

⋆˚✿˖° structured planner ⏱

Structured planner is a daily planning app to help you schedule in your tasks for the day. I like that it integrates other apps like your calendar and reminders to optimise its functionality - you can also add it as a standby widget, dynamic island widget and more to remind you of tasks/upcoming schedules!

⋆˚✿˖° Me+ daily routine builder ✨

This app is focused on helping you adopt and consistently build good habits that you’ve struggled with in the past (i.e. 8 hours of sleep, 2L of water, exercising consistently, etc). It helps you take accountability for your commitments and reminds you through notifications when to fulfil a habit.

Of course, don’t feel like you need all of these - choose what works for you!

Hope this was useful ♡ More tool recommendations to come!

... Read moreI'm so glad you're looking into boosting your productivity with apps! While the main article introduces some fantastic free tools, I wanted to share a few extra tips on how I’ve integrated them into my daily life to truly create that 'productive aesthetic' and make my routines stick. First, let's dive a little deeper into making the most of these apps. For Daylio, it's not just about picking a mood! I found that customizing my activities really helps. Instead of generic tags, try adding specific things you do, like 'journaling,' 'yoga,' or 'deep work session.' When you use the 'mood selection screen,' don't just tap and go; take a moment to reflect. Over time, you'll see fascinating patterns emerge – maybe certain activities always lead to a better mood, or specific days feel more challenging. This self-awareness is key to optimizing your mental health and, by extension, your productivity. Plus, seeing my progress charted out in a cute, minimalist interface makes it feel more rewarding! Next, with Me+ Daily Routine Planner, it’s all about consistency. I love how it helps me cultivate habits like my 'Miracle morning' routine. Beyond just setting the habit, I've found success by breaking down bigger goals into smaller, trackable steps within the app. For example, instead of just 'exercise,' I might have '15 min yoga' or 'drink 2L water' as separate, daily check-ins. The app's interface for habit tracking is super user-friendly, and those gentle reminders are perfect for keeping me accountable without being overwhelming. It genuinely transforms how I approach building a sustainable 'lifestyle routine.' And for Structured Planner, while it’s great for a 'daily timeline of tasks,' I leverage its integration features heavily. Linking it to my Google Calendar means I only have one place to see all my commitments. I also use its feature to add specific times for breaks or self-care, not just work tasks. This ensures I’m building a balanced day. For that 'aesthetic desk' vibe, I keep the Structured widget on my phone's home screen, so my schedule is always subtly visible and aligns with my organized setup. Finally, think about your overall 'smartphone productivity aesthetic.' It’s not just about the apps, but how you interact with your device. I personally minimize notifications from non-essential apps to reduce distractions. I also organize my apps into folders that match my workflow – one for 'focus apps,' one for 'creativity,' etc. This way, when I open my phone, I'm greeted with a clean, functional space that encourages focus, making my phone a tool for productivity, not just a source of endless scrolling. By combining these apps with mindful phone usage, you can truly cultivate a 'productive morning routine aesthetic' and a more organized, happier you!
