I made a “Build-a-Bear” plushie for just $30?? 😱

Hi zesties!! 🍋

I chanced upon this place offering diy workshops on my recent JB trip and i had such a great time there!

Initially i was there for the another workshop but this activity caught my eye once i entered.

I was greeted by a huge machine filled with cotton and lots of cute baby clothes (apparently it’s for the soft toys)🧸 followed by a shelve full of soft toys.

soooo many designs to choose from, i was deciding between the duck or the pig plushie but decided to go with the duck as it was love at first sight 😍

The staff will be there to guide you on how to fill up your soft toy using the machine. Depending on the fluffiness you would like, you can add as much cotton as you want into your soft toy!

After fluffing it up, they will let you take a height and weight for your soft toy (with a small weighing machine and measuring tape) to be filled up in their “ birth cert “.

After doing up the “paper work” you can add some finishing touches to your soft toy by putting on blush for him/her and brushing its fur.

I decided to buy a set of clothes for my soft toy as I didn’t want her to be naked🙈 and……waddles was born 🥹💛🪿

Super glad I chanced upon this and I 10/10 enjoyed myself there!

They have lots of other activities there too at really friendly prices.

If you're thinking of trying out a plushie workshop like this, here's what made my experience truly special. The machine that fills the plushies with cotton gives you complete control over the fluffiness, which means you can make your soft toy as cuddly or firm as you prefer. I found this really satisfying since I could customize mine exactly how I wanted. Another delightful part was the 'birth certificate' for the plushie, where they record its height and weight after fluffing it up. It added a personal touch that made my duck plushie feel extra special and more like a keepsake. Don’t forget to check out the clothes and accessories available for purchase onsite – I bought a cute outfit for my duck which gave it personality and made the whole creation more complete. The staff were welcoming and guided me step-by-step, which made it easy even for a first-timer like me. This workshop isn’t just about making a plush; it’s about having a fun and immersive creative experience that suits all ages. Located conveniently in Bandar Jaya Putra, Johor Bahru, it’s a perfect activity for a casual day out or a unique gift idea. Highly recommend trying it out if you’re near JB or visiting!
