My glamping trip to Conestoga Ranch in Bear Lake was an adventure I won't soon forget! If you're curious about what it's really like to spend a night under the stars with a touch of luxury, here's my in-depth take on this unique experience. From the moment I arrived, the cute aesthetic of the resort was undeniable. Stepping into our bell tent, I was immediately struck by how incredibly clean and well-maintained everything was. It truly felt like a comfortable escape, a perfect blend of nature and coziness. Imagine unwinding on a plush bed, looking out at a stunning sunset view – it’s pure bliss! The attention to detail inside the tent made it feel less like camping and more like a boutique hotel room, but with the sounds of nature just outside. One of the biggest perks for me was the complimentary bike rentals. We took full advantage, exploring the scenic paths around the lake, which is conveniently close to the ranch. And honestly, having the friendly staff start the campfire and grills for you? That's what I call true relaxation! We gathered around our fire pit in the comfy Adirondack chairs almost every evening, enjoying plenty of free s'mores under the stars. Such a simple pleasure, but it made the experience so memorable. However, it's not all starry nights and s'mores. I noticed that some of the tents were quite close together. If privacy is a major concern for you, I'd suggest inquiring about tent placement when booking, or perhaps choosing a less busy season. While we still found our cozy spot around our crackling campfire, it's something to consider. Also, a heads-up on the views: unfortunately, some of the natural vistas were a bit blocked by new townhomes being built in the area. But don't let this deter you completely! There are still so many picturesque spots to discover, especially down by the lake itself. To make your Conestoga Ranch glamping trip even smoother, here are a few things I wish I'd known to pack: comfy layers for those chillier evenings (even by the warmth of the campfire!), bug spray, a good book to enjoy inside your comfortable tent, and maybe some extra snacks for those s'mores sessions. While they provide a lot, a few personal touches can truly enhance your stay. Despite a couple of minor points, my overall experience was fantastic, offering a unique blend of outdoor adventure and genuine comfort. I'd definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a memorable getaway by Bear Lake!
