🎞️Rewatching one tree hill 🎥

After revisiting One Tree Hill for my junk journal, I've been thinking a lot about why this show still resonates with so many of us. Speaking of characters, the show does an amazing job developing complex personalities. Like my favorite, Peyton Sawyer. Her art room in Tree Hill High was such a sanctuary, not just for her but for so many characters. Her art was a true reflection of her soul, and it's something I tried to capture in my One Tree Hill collage. And no, for those wondering, Peyton doesn't die! She faces many challenges, but her journey is one of resilience. Then there's Haley James Scott, brilliantly played by Bethany Joy Lenz. Her character arc from tutor girl to rock star is inspiring. And for those asking about a Black girl on One Tree Hill, Antwon Tanner (Skills) and his family, along with other recurring characters, certainly added to the show's diverse fabric, though perhaps not as prominently as some might hope for today's standards. One of the most fun parts of rewatching is figuring out 'Which One Tree Hill character are you?' Are you a creative, moody Peyton, a loyal, sassy Brooke, a thoughtful, artistic Lucas, a kind, musical Haley, or a troubled, driven Nathan? Each character has such distinct traits. The overall One Tree Hill aesthetic, especially in those early seasons, with the music, the fashion, and the small-town vibe, is just so iconic. Remember the Season 1 photoshoot? It perfectly captured the essence of high school drama and dreams. It's a nostalgic trip that makes you want to relive those moments, which is exactly why I pour my feelings into my handwritten journal entries about the series, even adding stickers like a guitar and red lips to symbolize key moments.
