Some of the ways that Sean and I save $$ 🙌🏻

... Read moreBuilding on our money-saving journey, I’ve found that being mindful about every purchase makes a significant difference. One trick that helped me a lot was embracing the capsule wardrobe concept—investing in versatile clothing that mixes and matches well, so I spent less but still looked put together. I also learned that buying in bundles only works if you actually use the items before they expire or get forgotten. For things like laundry pods or supplements, buying a few months' supply saves money when combined with platform vouchers or cashback deals. Avoiding FOMO is a big deal. I used to want every new gadget or trend, but I realized most don’t add value long-term. Now, I ask myself if I genuinely need something before buying; this mindset helped cut unnecessary spending drastically. Staying home more also helps save! Those small outings add up—paying for drinks, meals, or event tickets really stacks. Cooking our own meals and spending time with our cats not only saves money but feels relaxing and rewarding. Lastly, I highly recommend setting up a separate savings account without easy access cards. Every month, automatically transferring a portion of your income there helps you build your goals without the temptation to dip in. It’s like paying your future self first! For anyone wanting to make their money work harder, consider options like fixed deposits or high-yield savings accounts. We’re currently exploring new ones as our previous fixed deposit matured. Let’s keep sharing and learning together to feel more confident about money!
