Story Time! Why my ex blocked me 😂
He was my teenage love, on and off for FOUR years (🥴) bc he would cheat on me and I’d get back together with him 🙂 That Young + Dumb love ya know?
I finally cut it off with him in 2016 and moved on to be with my now current husband. Our breakup was messy, with him threatening unaliving himself, getting his mom involved, and trying to keep tabs on me by following my friends and new bf(current husband). My husband ended up blocking him bc it was weird.
I didn’t message him, friend him, add him or follow him on any social media. HE, however, had continued following me on Instagram and Snapchat ever since. He’d like EVERY post I made + watch EVERY insta or snap story. My mom stayed friends with him on Facebook and he’d like photos of me she’d post on there. For YEARS after our breakup, he would snap my best friend (to get a reaction out of me ig??) and swipe up on her stories until she finally told him to f* off bc I didn’t care and it was weird. This man stayed single after our relationship all these years and never really had anything interesting to keep tabs on so I kinda ignored him when I’d see his username pop up in my feed.
WELL, finally last year(February?), I decided to snoop after he liked a post of mine and I saw he finally had a gf! She was gorgeous too which I was surprised bc he’s .. not .. 🥲 anyways, I did what most of us do and tried to peep her profile but there was none. No likes, no comments, no tagged photos, no profile of her 🤔 I go to his Facebook and I see she has a profile there. Cute pics together and each have “in a relationship” as their status. I was like good for him, he seems happy and they look cute together but why still like your ex photos? 👀
Since he finally had tea to keep up on, I’d snoop and update my friends bc he had harassed them too (also still liked their photos) 😂 Not that long later, there’s an engagement post! I noticed on the slides he called her the same pet names he would me and in a clip where he was showing off her ring, he had 1000 Years playing in the background. Funny thing is, he “dedicated” that song to me while we were dating 🥴 (I hated it but I never said anything to be nice lol) Also he referred to her as “female” in the caption?? Like how are you gonna refer to your fiancé as that 😭
So I showed the post to my friend to show her how pretty his fiancé is and she’s like “girl, she fucking looks like you” and I’m like 🫨 I was shook, I hadn’t even realized! She’s blonde but I was blonde when I was with him, she does her makeup like I used to when I was with him (heavy, 2015-16 makeup) and we have similar facial features! Idk how he has pulled us gorgeous girls but I gotta say the man has good taste 💅🏼😂
Anyways sometime mid June I peeped again and all her photos are gone from his page, I go to Facebook and same thing. New profile pics and single statuses. My mom and I gossiped about the possible reasons and conclude she realized his crazy and dumped him. The tea was over.. or so I thought 👀
This man MESSAGES me! A few days later after the break up, he’s swiping up on my snap selfie asking about my Grandma’s birthday?? 🤨 I didn’t even know he was still watching my snap stories at that point! Like, bitch, I know you don’t care about her b-day. 😭 And if he did, he could have asked literally anyone else in my family he’s still friends with on Facebook but his EX? I found out my mom made some post about her birthday and that’s why he asked but he could have literally asked her?? Idk man I found that shit funny so I screenshot the story reply and PSA!! IT LETS THEM KNOW 😭 y’all I was on the phone with my husband when I saw his message and screenshot it thinking I was being slick lmfao I saw it showed up that I screenshot that chat and I screamed in panic. I told my husband what I just did hahaha he just laughed and said that’s what I get for being a chismosa ☠️ I told my friends too and they said it was good that he was notified bc it let him know he ain’t slick. That made me feel better so I just responded casually saying no, my grams birthday was last month lol. He must’ve been embarrassed or felt some heat bc he NEVER even opened my message after that 😂
So a couple weeks later I’m talking with my mom and told her about him messaging me and she says that they’re back together. I’m like noooo, girly nooo 🥲 and had to fact check but yup, they had photos of each other back up. We wonder what would’ve made her go back to him and my mom says maybe she found out she was pregnant? Well my mom called it! There was a pregnancy announcement soon after and based on the due date(I know, this is probably extra to look up lol), she would’ve found out during their break up, while mister man was finding an excuse to message me and who knows who else 🙄
Anyways, I minded my business but then in September I made a new post after a while and guess whose name popped up so quick 🤨 I’m thinking he’s so bold for that, with a baby on the way! I’m screenshotting everything at this point in case he does more and girly needs to know. I click on his profile and he’s got new pics up, his most recent was one of him with one of her kids. I click on it and girl, I ACCIDENTALLY LIKED IT ☠️😭 now this ain’t my first rodeo with accidentally liking a post I wasn’t supposed to, but mama ain’t raised a bitch so I always leave them 😂 I thought it was best he thought I did it on purpose and like in an innocent way. It was just a photo with him and his future stepkid, ya know, acknowledging he’s moved on and a family man now 😅 I didn’t think much of it bc this man has been liking my photos for years so what’s one like from me?
The next month I went to see what’s new, I can’t look him up. I go through my photo likes and follower list and he doesn’t come up. I wonder if he deleted social media or actually blocked me so I go on my husband’s account bc he had him in his block list and he’s still there! He did block me! All because I liked ONE photo 😂 so I get curious and snoop more and I find HER IG account! She was tagged, she had likes and comments all over his profile. I was blocked from her account since before knew they were together! This had me wondering, did she block me or did HE? I was already blocked before I even knew she existed 🤔 so why would a girl block her man’s ex but not care if he still followed her?? This lead me to conclude that this man took her phone and blocked me without her knowing! All these revelations were so funny and wild to me dude 😂
I do feel bad for girly, bc I know this dude and she’s now having his kid after they had already broken up. I kinda wanted to send her the screenshots to let her know bc his actions are so sus and feel like women deserve to know when their man is acting shady. I hesitated though bc she was pregnant and it seemed shitty to upset a pregnant woman during such an already rough time 🥲 also I remember when someone tried telling me this man was hitting on them and I refused to believe her so would she do the same if I had told her?
This was all last year, they have their baby now, I’m still blocked, but it has me wondering, did I do the right thing by keeping the peace, minding my business? Or should I have told her? 🥲 all he did was message me during their break and like my photos even after getting back together but still, it’s a super weird situation.
