They're perfect for recharging without the huge time commitment or expense of a longer getaway. For me, a mini trip usually means 2-4 days, just enough time to switch off, explore somewhere new, and come back feeling refreshed. One of the biggest joys of a mini vacation is the planning! It doesn't have to be complicated. I usually start by thinking about what kind of vibe I'm craving – a city break, a cozy cabin, or maybe some beach time. Since it's a short trip, I try to pick a destination that isn't too far, minimizing travel time so I can maximize my actual vacation days. Budget is always a consideration, and mini trips are fantastic for keeping costs low. I often look for deals on flights or accommodation a few weeks in advance. Now, let's talk packing, my favorite part! As you might have seen from my recent travel pics, I love having a stylish yet practical black suitcase – it makes heading out of the modern building feel like the start of a real adventure. For a mini trip, less is definitely more. I always plan my outfits beforehand, trying to mix and match pieces so I don't overpack. My go-to strategy is packing travel-sized toiletries, rolling my clothes to save space, and choosing versatile shoes. And yes, my trusty Ed Hardy design suitcase gets a lot of love!
