Despite this, I sometimes miss the spontaneity of doodling freely or writing without the limitations of an app's structure. If you love the tactile, nostalgic feel of pen and paper but want some digital benefits, you can even combine both methods! For example, jot down quick notes or sketches in your book, then digitize the pages by photographing them and adding them to your iPad app. Ultimately, whether you’re Team Book or Team iPad depends on your lifestyle and what you seek from your journaling practice.
