Just got myself a new skill!

My outdoor pipe broke, and a handyman wanted $100 to fix it. A friend suggested using PVC to fix it, but the vertical pipes were too close to fit. First Home Depot trip, I bought glue and scissors. My second trip, I grabbed 22 degree PVC fittings, twisted 'em on, and yes, I fixed it for $15! Saved $85, baby. Next day, neighbors did landscaping, so I asked for their extra turf, laid it down. It Looks legit! Who knew Home Depot could be so satisfying? Anyone else turned into a DIYer to save money?

Ngl I basically became a plumber after my dad passed away. I didn’t know anything about any type of pipes for the sinks. But our kitchen sink pipe came lose and I didn’t know what had happened because all we heard was water spilling out but YouTube helped. Even for the bathroom sink. I dropped my nose right down the drain and I looked that up as well
