As a graphic designer, I’ve been exploring AI to create content for my digital biz.
Sounds good in theory lah.
But sometimes it REALLY tests my patience! 😂
I’ve even caught myself “scolding” AI when it ignores my instructions!
Strangely, it also makes my day. I end up laughing at what it creates. Quite therapeutic also! Haha! 🤣

Designer mode kicks in… scrutinising proportions, perspectives and little details that don’t make sense.
Even AI doesn’t notice until I point it out! And it laughs along in its replies! 🤣🤣

Many times, I give up and create the visual myself!
Not asking for perfection lah… I just need to feel comfortable with what I post.
Don’t get me wrong. AI is useful, and I enjoy learning it.
And this is something I appreciate abt my digital biz.
I don’t have to figure out everything from scratch. There are already tools and training to guide me, and AI is another tool I’m learning to apply.
As a designer, I still enjoy creating things myself, with my own personal touch.
AI is moving so fast. Like it or not, it’s becoming part of how we work and live.
Lots of people learn AI, but do they get to use what they’ve learnt?
Even if I don’t use it much in my design work, I’m glad I get to explore and apply it in my digital biz.
Of coz, my main reason for starting is still to build another income source.
But the skills I’m picking up? That’s added value too.

While AI promises efficiency, I've found that it sometimes throws unexpected curveballs, like inventing bizarre laptop designs with giant screens or displays on the outside that make no practical sense. Despite this, the process has been oddly therapeutic—laughing at AI's mistakes lightens the pressure and sparks unexpected creativity. What I've learned is that AI is a powerful tool when combined with human expertise. It doesn't replace the designer's eye but rather serves as an assistant that can generate ideas or initial drafts. Importantly, having a clear and precise prompt is crucial to guide AI towards better results, yet flexibility and patience remain essential. In my digital business journey, AI has also offered opportunities to develop new skills and create diverse income streams. Even if I don't use AI extensively for every creative project, experimenting with it opens doors to innovative content creation and workflow enhancement. If you're a designer or digital creator, I'd encourage embracing AI as a collaborator rather than a replacement. Expect to encounter odd outcomes—sometimes hilarious—but see those as chances to refine your own style and control over your work.
