A seafood boil is a classic favorite, especially in gatherings, and this oven-baked version makes it simpler and less messy. Seafood boils traditionally feature a variety of seafood like shrimp, crab, and mussels, along with vegetables like corn and potatoes. The secret to a great seafood boil lies in the seasoning — a mix including Old Bay, garlic powder, and spices, which not only enhance the taste but also add an aromatic touch. When preparing your seafood boil, it's essential to ensure that the shrimp is fresh and properly cleaned. Optionally, adding some white wine in the broth can elevate the flavors, adding depth and richness. Additionally, while gathering ingredients, feel free to substitute or add other seafood types, like clams or crawfish, to cater to your guests' preferences. After the boil, serve the seafood with melted butter and fresh lemon wedges for added zest. To keep the experience informal, spread newspaper on the table and dump the seafood directly on it for a fun, interactive meal. Whether it's for a family dinner or a fun party with friends, this seafood boil recipe is bound to impress and satisfy everyone!
