I got my hair done 2 weeks ago at REDS salon in City Square mall for the first time and here is my review~

🎀 wash & cut (done by lim): RM65++ i only got my split ends trimmed and no changes to my hair style as I’m trying to grow out my layers :)
🎀 hair colour (done by michelle): RM168++
🎀 hair treatment (done by michelle): RM198++ (depends on individual hair length & type)

✅ CUSTOMER SERVICE
The staff were very welcoming and friendly and consulted me on which colours would best suit my hair type & style. I went there still undecided on what I wanted to do for my hair but they were quite understanding and patient! We decided on a light brown colour as I did not want to bleach my hair 😳 They also advised that highlights/baylage would not work on heavily layered hair which helped to narrow down my options abit more!
✅ HAIR CUT & DYE
The whole colouring process went very smoothly :) i like that the dye didn’t sting or burn my scalp and the whole process was done very professionally and quickly. The eventual colour came out beautiful and very evenly applied as well :) I washed my hair 1 day after hair colouring and none of the colour came out at all while I was shampoo-ing which was pretty impressive to me AHHAHA
✅ HAIR TREATMENT
After washing out the dye, the staff put the treatment into my hair & massaged it in and ngl it was quite SHIOK - i love head massages 🤪 I was left in the washing area for ~10mins on my own for the treatment to soak in my hair which was quite relaxing also! My hair came out so smooth & silky - I kept running my fingers through it after that :0 It even managed to FINALLY smooth out the damaged, frizzly, & tangled piece of hair behind my head from my previous hair dyeing session last year 😭

I wanted to wait 2 weeks to see how well the colour held up after 2 weeks and was not disappointed! The colour held up really well to the initial dyeing & still looks even :)
My hair stayed silky smooth days after the treatment felt so much more healthier than before - it didn’t feel like I had just dyed it at all! I was honestly really impressed & would definitely recommend the treatment for those with damaged hair looking for a REVIVAL!
Overall, I think that this is a high quality & very affordable salon to visit if you’re in JB! I booked my appointment in advance but they accept walk-ins as well. The whole process was relatively quick as well - I came in at 11am and was done by 1pm :) You can also go shopping & have lunch in the mall after you’re done, which is what I did! (just remember to bring some cash as the parking ticket was 10RM for me)
you have the option to walk-in for your appointment or make a booking online in advance via their info on their google maps page! Mine was made mine via whatsapp and they are very responsive!
