🤍 My Story: When I was younger my first interracial movie was Cinderella Rodger and Hammerstein’s 1997 after that I became obsessed with interracial relationships or (black women falling in love with anybody else then black men) so I was looking for that in movies, YouTube, comics/manga and sometimes it pops up on my social media but every time I try to find a movie with interracial romance it’s either the Male lead is either die, become the villain or they end the movie with a kiss which is a problem because the producers/writers make it seem that a black strong female character can’t be with someone and be strong at the same time which is wrong!
🤍 How I Felt: Watching Cinderella 1997 made me feel like I was in another dimension for example they did not care about race on that movie which I love and the fact they gave their main leads this intense, cute scene at the ball together and the singing was dreamy and mesmerizing. It made me want to support other people projects and relationships.
🤍 My Takeaways: Why I’m writing this because I want to encourage people to not give up on their project with the main characters that are interracial couple because it’s fans like me who is going to support you no matter what and do not give them a crazy ending. And for people who would like to date outside their race but scared to first ask 💰Price:your self is some of the things I like or do my happiest/values fall with men in my community if that’s a yes then don’t listen to me but if it’s a no then my advice to you is be safe, be friends first to see what their head is at then get closer and then make sure they like you(I do not give the best advice but this is something to start with) and make sure you have flirting skills and it no harm asking them out for drinks.
One more thing I do not want to be in any kind of relationship because of personal reasons and that this is my opinion and what I like so if you don’t like this go and skip my post it’s not for you and no disrespectful comments. Thanks for reading😘
