ถ้าใครกำลังหา “โกปี๊” หรืออยากสัมผัสฟีล “พวงกาแฟโบราณ” แบบภูเก็ต บอกเลยว่าโรงโกปี๊เป็นร้านที่ทำให้เราเข้าใจคำว่าอาหารเช้าแบบชาวเกาะจริงๆ คือไม่ได้แค่มากินแล้วกลับ แต่เป็นที่ที่นั่งได้ยาวๆ คุยกันเพลินๆ เหมือนสภากาแฟในสมัยก่อน แถมตัวร้านยังเป็นตึกแถวเก่า สไตล์ชิโนโปรตุกีส ถ่ายรูปมุมหน้าร้านกับป้าย “โรงโกปี๊” ได้ฟีลมาก (ในร้านก็สะอาด ผนังกระเบื้องขาวๆ ดูสบายตา) ทริคแรกที่อยากบอกสำหรับสายตั้งใจมากิน: ร้านแนวโกปี๊บางเมนู “หมดไว” โดยเฉพาะพวกของปิ้ง/ของทอดและเมนูยอดฮิตอย่างสังขยา เราไปประมาณสิบโมงยังพอได้กินหลายอย่าง แต่ก็มีบางเมนูที่อดไปตามระเบียบ ดังนั้นถ้าอยากเก็บครบ แนะนำไปเช้าหน่อย จะได้เลือกเมนูได้เต็มที่ และบรรยากาศตอนเช้าจะเข้ากับคอนเซ็ปต์ “Breakfast Time @ Phuket” มากๆ เมนูที่เราว่าควรเริ่มสั่งถ้าไปครั้งแรก (กินง่ายและได้รสชาติความเป็นโกปี๊): - ชาเย็น/กาแฟเย็น: เป็นเครื่องดื่มที่ช่วยเซ็ตโทนความเป็นพวงกาแฟโบราณสุดๆ หวานมันพอดี กินคู่ของปิ้งคือเข้ากัน - หมั่นโถวทอดสังขยา + ขนมปังปิ้งสังขยา: สังขยาหอมๆ กินแล้วนึกถึงร้านเช้าแบบดั้งเดิมเลย ของทอดจะให้ความกรอบนอกนุ่มใน ส่วนขนมปังปิ้งจะได้ความหอมไหม้ปลายๆ - ข้าวต้มปลา: เหมาะกับคนอยากได้อะไรอุ่นท้องแบบจริงจัง รสละมุน กินเช้าๆ คือสบายท้อง เรื่องพิกัด เผื่อใครวางแผนตามรอย: ร้านอยู่ในซอยศาลเจ้าจุ๊ยตุ่ย ถัดจากศาลเจ้าประมาณ 200 เมตร อยู่ฝั่งเดียวกับศาลเจ้า เดินจากจุดไหว้พระ/เที่ยวเมืองเก่ามาแวะได้เลย เราว่าทำเป็นแพลนเช้า “ไหว้ศาลเจ้า-เดินเมืองเก่า-จบด้วยโกปี๊” คือครบทั้งเที่ยวทั้งกิน สุดท้าย ถ้าอยากได้รูปสวยๆ แนะนำถ่ายทั้งด้านนอกร้าน (ตึกเก่า+ป้ายร้าน) และมุมด้านในที่มีโต๊ะไม้กับสตูล รวมถึงรูปเครื่องดื่มชาเย็น/กาแฟเย็นคู่กับสังขยา รับรองได้คอนเทนต์ฟีลพวงกาแฟโบราณแบบภูเก็ตกลับไปแน่นอน
