Googleで「三条 王様のコーヒー」と出てきて気になった人へ。私も最初は“王様のコーヒーってお店が三条にあるの？”と検索して、近くのカフェ情報を追いかけているうちに、ちょうど新しくできた「珈琲とカヌレ 京都店」に辿り着きました。結論、コーヒー目的でも満足度高いし、カヌレ好きなら一回行ってみてほしいお店です。 まず雰囲気は、木のテーブルと椅子で落ち着く感じ。写真でも分かる通り店内はすっきりしていて、ひとりでも入りやすかったです。しかも全席コンセントあり。これ、三条エリアでカフェ作業したい人にはかなり助かります。私は短時間の作業で利用しましたが、ドリンクの種類も多いので“コーヒー＋甘いもの”で気分転換しやすいのが良かったです。 肝心のコーヒーは、甘いカヌレと合わせても重くならない印象。私はミルクヴィエンナを頼んだんですが、ふわっとしたクリームのコクがありつつ飲みやすくて、カヌレの香ばしさと相性◎でした。オレンジジュースもメニューにあって、甘いカヌレを食べ比べるときに口がリセットされる感じがして、意外とアリ。 カヌレはショーケースに種類が並んでいて、アールグレイ、ショコラ、抹茶など選ぶ時間が楽しいです。私が食べた「フレーズショコラ」と「ほうじ茶×キャラメル」も、外側カリッ・内側しっとりの“黄金バランス”。サイズが少し大きめで満足感があります。はじめて行くなら、王道の「カヌレ・ド・ボルドー」とフレーバー系を1個ずつにすると違いが分かりやすいと思いました。 あと、メニューにカレーがあるのもポイント。隣の席からいい匂いがして、次は軽食目的でも来たい…ってなりました。甘い→しょっぱいのループができるカフェ、強いです。 行くときの小メモ：地下鉄の駅から徒歩3分くらいで、三条の街歩きの途中に寄りやすい立地。テラス席もあるので、涼しい時期は外も気持ちよさそう。定休日は月曜日なので、週初めに行く予定の人は要注意です。
