私が「カフェMercredi（Salon de thé Mercredi）」に行く前に気になっていたのが、実際どうなの？という“レビュー”と、“メニューの雰囲気”でした。結論、哲学の道エリアで「静かにおやつを楽しみたい日」にかなり刺さるお店だと思います。 まずメニューの印象。ショーケースには焼き菓子やパン系も並んでいて、パン・オ・レザンやショコラティーヌ、クッキーなど、選ぶ時間も楽しいです。私は季節のフランス菓子を狙って訪問。写真でも伝わると思うのですが、木製トレイ＋光の入る窓際席が本当に気持ちよくて、同じおやつでも“特別な時間”になります。 いちじくのタルトは、フルーツの瑞々しさが主役で、ベリーの酸味が全体を引き締めてくれるタイプ。タルト生地はザクッとしていて、クリームのスパイス感（カルダモン系）がふわっと残るのが好きでした。しかもシェフが席まで来てくれて、食材の説明や「一口で食べるのがおすすめ」といった食べ方のコツを教えてくれるのがMercrediらしさ。カフェでここまで“体験”があるのは嬉しいポイントです。 そして検索でもよく見る「パリブレスト」。リング状のシュー生地に、プラリネっぽいコクのあるクリームが挟まれていて、粉砂糖がふわっと。甘いだけじゃなく香ばしさが勝つので、コーヒー系のドリンクと合わせると満足感が上がると思います（私は濃いめのドリンクと合わせたくなりました）。 行き方の注意点もレビューとして大事なので正直に。周辺に駅が近いわけではないので、基本はバスで向かうのが安心です。哲学の道沿いにあるので、散歩とセットにすると移動のハードルが下がりました。混み具合は日や時間で変わりそうなので、店内でゆっくり過ごしたい人は早めの時間帯を狙うのもあり。 最後に、器もかわいくて（Mercrediのために作られた器があるみたいです）、写真に残したくなるポイントが多いです。「カフェMercrediのメニュー、どれ頼む？」と迷ったら、季節タルト＋パリブレストのどちらか、でまず間違いないと思います。
