「三条で飯屋（＝ごはんも飲みもできる店）を探してるけど、居酒屋すぎるのも違うし、がっつり定食だけでもないところがいい…」って日にちょうどよかったのが、めし屋エビスでした。京都市役所前駅から本当に近いので、集合前の0次会や、用事終わりに“とりあえず1杯”したい時に使いやすいです。 私が行って感じた推しポイントは、「ごはん目的でも行けるのに、酒場としても強い」ところ。メニュー表を見ても一品・酒肴・食事・デザートまで幅広くて、三条の“飯屋”として成立してるな〜と。友達と行ってシェアしやすい小皿系も多いので、2人以上なら色々頼むのが楽しいです。 実際に頼んだ中だと、煮たまごポテサラが想像以上にお酒泥棒でした。半熟卵にラー油がのってて、コク＋ピリ辛でつまみ感強め。ポテサラって地味になりがちだけど、これはちゃんと主役級です。あと厚切りたんカツは、衣サクッ＆中はしっとりで、レモンと塩で食べると重すぎないのが嬉しい。しっかり肉感があるから、今日は“ちゃんと食べたい”って気分も満たせました。 店内は活気があって、カウンターもテーブルもあるので使い分けしやすい印象。さらに外で立ち飲みできるスペースがあるのも三条っぽくて、ふらっと寄れる理由のひとつでした。 混雑は土曜夜だと賑わっていたので、確実に入りたいなら予約がおすすめです（私は前日にネット予約して安心でした）。逆に、平日早めの時間に行けるなら「三条の飯屋」を開拓する入門としても良さそう。 次行くなら、気になったカツオの塩タタキや鱧の天ぷらあたりも食べたい…！ドリンクも種類が多くて、カルダモンサワーがあったのは個人的にかなり高ポイントでした。三条で“アクセス良くて、サク飲みもごはんも”を叶えたい人はぜひ候補に入れてみてください。
