私が行った「喫茶ポルコ」は、山県市の自然に囲まれた古民家カフェ。店内は“和”の落ち着きに、ちょっとアメリカンな雰囲気も混ざっていて、写真を撮りたくなる空間でした。屋根の上を猿の群れが通ったり、時には動物に出会うかも…という話もあって、ドライブ気分で行くのが楽しいです。 一番の目的はやっぱりモーニング。ここは8:00〜16:00が「一日中モーニング」なので、朝が苦手でも間に合うのが嬉しいポイントでした。ドリンク代のみでも、ヨーグルト＋サラダ＋好きなパン（トースト or サンドイッチ）が付いてきて、少食ならそれだけで満腹になりそう。私は“欲張りメニュー”に惹かれて、チーズリゾットとサンドイッチのセット（ドリンク代＋200円）を選びました。濃厚なチーズ感で、カフェというより軽めのランチを食べた満足感。 メニューはサンド系が豊富で、エッグチーズサンド、エッグトマトチーズサンド、ツナサンド、BLTサンド、クロックムッシュ/クロックマダムなど選ぶ時間も楽しいです。追加料金で豪華版にできるので、「今日はしっかり食べたい」「写真映えも欲しい」みたいな日に合います。ドリンクはコーヒー（ポルコブレンド/マイルドブレンド）だけでなく、カフェオレ、ココア、抹茶オレ、レモンティー、ロイヤルミルクティー、ジュース系もあって、コーヒーが苦手な人でも安心でした。 注意したいのはアクセス。お店に近づくと細い道があるので、小さめの車の方が行きやすいと思います。駐車場はお店前と下側に数台分とのことでしたが、混みそうな日はできるだけ乗り合わせが安心。あと、マスターがワンオペの日もあるみたいで、作っている間はのんびり待つ気持ちで行くと、より気持ちよく過ごせます。 山県市で「近くのモーニング」「近くの喫茶店」を探している人にはかなり有力な選択肢。おしゃれだけど気取らず、古民家の居心地でゆっくりできるので、時間に余裕がある日にまた再訪したいです。
