Met Remie a 7 week old mix American Pitbull Terrier!! He’s a blue and red nose mix with very pretty blue eyes. He’s my 4th pittie but first pitbull puppy and man he’s smart and sassy.
Oh my goodness, bringing home a 7-week-old American Pitbull Terrier puppy like Remie has been an absolute whirlwind of joy and discovery! It's incredible how much personality these little guys pack into such a small package. When I first saw his striking blue eyes and that beautiful blue and red nose mix, I knew he was special. He's my first pitbull puppy, and I'm learning so much every single day. At just 7 weeks old, Remie is a bundle of energy wrapped in a soft, light-colored coat with those distinctive white markings. He's curious about everything, from exploring the corners of the room to drinking from his pink bowl with such gusto. One minute he's sound asleep, relaxed on the tiled floor or snuggled on his blue blanket, and the next he's pouncing on a toy or trying to 'help' me with chores by getting into an empty cardboard box. It's truly amazing to watch him grow and discover the world around him. People often ask about his gorgeous blue eyes. While many puppies are born with blue eyes, they can sometimes change color as they get older. For some Pitbulls, especially those with certain colorations like a blue or red nose, the blue eyes can persist, making them even more captivating. The blue and red nose mix is also quite unique, giving him such a distinctive look. It's one of the first things people notice about him! Even at this young age, Remie is proving to be incredibly smart and, yes, wonderfully sassy! We've already started some very basic potty training, and he's picking things up so quickly. Socialization is also key at this stage. I'm gently introducing him to new sights, sounds, and textures, making sure every experience is positive. This helps in raising a well-adjusted, confident American Pitbull Terrier. Pitbulls are known for their loyalty and affectionate nature, and I can already see those traits blossoming in Remie. His days are a mix of short play sessions, frequent potty breaks, lots of naps (often with his paws up after a good play), and of course, endless cuddles. We're focusing on positive reinforcement, making sure he feels safe and loved. Watching him play with his toys, or simply lying contentedly on the carpet next to a gray towel, reminds me of the pure, uncomplicated joy a puppy brings. Getting a 7-week-old pitbull puppy is a big commitment, but the love and laughter they bring into your home are absolutely priceless. Every day is an adventure with my little Remie!
