Today’s Shot

A shot of today’s shot! Today is rest day so I’m taking it easy but tomorrow I’ll be heading back into the gym early in the morning! Going in before the kids wake up is a great way to start the day to give myself some me time. I’ll be posting my measurements and weight tomorrow and possibly some before pics to track my progress. I don’t have everything figured out yet but I just have to go and figure it out on the way! Here’s to a great week! #progressandgrowth

I've found that incorporating rest days strategically helps me stay consistent without feeling overwhelmed. Starting the day with a morning workout before my kids wake up sets a positive tone and gives me dedicated 'me time' which is incredibly refreshing. Tracking progress is another key to success. Using measurements and photos as benchmarks provides tangible evidence of change, inspiring motivation even when the scale seems stagnant. It’s important to remember that fitness is a journey—sometimes uncertain, but figuring things out along the way makes it personal and meaningful. If you’re juggling family and fitness, early workouts can be a game changer. It’s quiet, less crowded, and sets a healthy routine. Plus, progress sharing in communities or forums fosters support and accountability, making the entire experience more rewarding. Here's to embracing both rest and movement for a balanced fitness lifestyle!
