6/16 Healthy Breakfast

Today’s lemon shot was taken at 6AM so I could go to the gym for a bit before the boys woke up. It was about a two hour session including stretching, stair master, glute activation, 7 different exercises, a few ab work outs and a cool down. I don’t know how to cut down the the time as every part seems so important but it worked out for today as everyone was still asleep when I came back.

I came home a bit hungry so I had an avocado toast with some chicken and bell peppers and then to satisfy my sweet tooth I had another avocado toast but with strawberry and bell pepper slices with a dash of honey. I accompanied it with a cup of coffee with some cream and it was delicious.

I’m not tracking any calories just yet but I am trying to stay away from the processed foods a bit more. But here’s to good health! #breakfast #health #journey

I find that starting with a mix of stretching, cardio like the stair master, and targeted exercises such as glute activation and ab workouts not only improves my strength but also boosts my energy levels and mental clarity. Following exercise, having a wholesome breakfast is crucial. Avocado toast is my go-to because it’s packed with healthy fats, fiber, and vitamins. Adding lean protein like chicken and fresh vegetables like bell peppers enhances the nutrition profile and keeps me full longer. The creative twist of combining avocado toast with strawberries and a touch of honey satisfies sweet cravings while still being healthy. I avoid counting calories rigidly; instead, I focus on the quality of foods — steering clear of processed options helps me feel more energized and balanced throughout the day. Pairing breakfast with a cup of coffee and a little cream rounds out the meal for a comforting start. For those looking to improve their mornings, balancing a well-rounded gym routine with nutrient-dense foods like this can be incredibly effective. Listening to your body, allowing time for recovery such as stretching and cool-downs, and enjoying food mindfully are key to sustaining both physical and mental wellness.
