Thank you for this. I've been in disability for 10 years, and I've probably beaten myself up about not doing things 90% of that time. I was the breadwinner for the family for awhile, then an equal partner, then disability.. I HATE that I can't do things myself like I want to, used to. I hate that I can start making dinner, but not finish it. I hate that I have to point at things and all to have the sweeping done because I can't. I really miss who I used to be.
