Absolutely loved everything about this place. The vibes are immaculate. Very luxury and classy. The aesthetic of the whole restaurant/ bar is insane. The bar had a grand piano on it that was covered in alcohol with a man playing the piano the whole time.
Was quite pricey as you could imagine. I think our bill was close to $400 before the tip, however we did splurge on the alcohol. We had a couple glasses of wine as well an espresso martinis, those in itself were prob half of the bill.
This is a very well known spot in Tulsa but is also very hidden at the same time. It’s one of those “if you know you know” type things. They have no advertising or social media really, they also don’t have signs indicating they’re there. When u go into the restaurant it’s down an alley in downtown Tulsa, the only indication of the bar is a bull sign hanging over the door. Which is quite tiny and u won’t see it if you’re not looking way up for it.
... Read moreWow, if you're looking for an unforgettable night out in Tulsa, you absolutely have to try and find Bull In The Alley. Seriously, finding this place is part of the adventure, and it truly earns its reputation as a hidden gem restaurant in Tulsa. Don't expect big signs or a bustling social media presence – that's just not their style. You'll need to navigate downtown Tulsa, head into a specific alley, and keep your eyes peeled for a small bull sign hanging above an unassuming door. It's a true 'if you know, you know' experience, and walking in feels like stepping into another world.
Once inside, the atmosphere is just incredible. The OCR perfectly captured it: a dimly lit, luxurious bar interior that immediately sets a sophisticated mood. Imagine a grand piano, often with a talented musician playing, surrounded by an impressive array of alcohol bottles, making for a truly classy and elegant backdrop. It’s the kind of place where every detail, from the lighting to the furnishings, screams luxury.
Now, let's talk about the main event – the food! While my original visit touched upon the drinks, the dining experience here is equally paramount, especially if you're looking for a top-tier steak in Tulsa. The images from the OCR don't lie: they offer an incredible food selection, with a focus on perfectly prepared cuts like a large T-bone steak and beautifully sliced steak. Beyond the red meat, you can expect diverse entrees that cater to various palates, alongside excellent side options that complement the main dishes perfectly. Whether you're craving a rich pasta or a fresh seafood option, their culinary team clearly aims to impress. This isn't just dinner; it's a gastronomic journey.
Many people wonder about the Bull In The Alley dress code. Given the opulent interior and sophisticated ambiance, I'd definitely recommend dressing up a bit. Think smart casual to cocktail attire – you won't feel out of place in a nice dress or a collared shirt and slacks. It's part of the experience of indulging in a luxurious evening.
Regarding practicalities like Bull In The Alley hours or how to secure a 'bull table,' it can be a bit tricky due to their discreet nature. They don't widely publicize their operating hours or have an easy online reservation system, which adds to their mystique. My best advice for prospective diners is to call ahead directly or inquire through local contacts if you know anyone who frequents the spot. Planning is key, especially if you're hoping for a specific 'bull table' for a special occasion.
Yes, it's pricey – my bill was a testament to that, especially with a few espresso martinis and wine! But honestly, for the unparalleled ambiance, the impeccable service, and the exquisite food, it's an investment in an experience. It’s not just a meal; it’s an escape. If you're celebrating something special or simply want to treat yourself to one of Tulsa's finest and most unique dining establishments, Bull In The Alley is absolutely worth the splurge.
