In my journey of faith, embracing the truth of the authority given through Christ has been truly transformative. Many Christians struggle with feelings of powerlessness when faced with life's challenges, but understanding that Jesus has already given us authority helps shift that mindset completely. It’s comforting to know, as highlighted in Luke 10:19-20, that believers are equipped not only to face visible battles but also those unseen spiritual struggles. This realization has helped me move beyond fear and anxiety. Instead of feeling like a victim of circumstances or the enemy's schemes, I feel empowered to stand firm. One of the most powerful ways I experience this authority is through prayer. When I pray, I remind myself that I am operating from a position of divine strength and protection. It changes the way I approach difficulties — from a perspective of faith and victory rather than defeat. This doesn’t mean life becomes problem-free, but I face every situation knowing that nothing sent against me has the final say. Also, walking in this authority requires continual spiritual growth and faith-building. I personally find that surrounding myself with inspirational scriptures and communities that focus on Christian motivation reinforces my walk of faith. Ultimately, embracing the identity of being ‘covered and protected in Christ’ means rejecting fear and declaring victory in all areas of life. It’s a journey of self-discovery and spiritual empowerment that encourages us to live boldly in God’s promises.
