I had to say bye to my 18 year old cat, Kisa. She was very vocal, it was her meowing that let us find her in a bush as a kitten, and she kept that volume her whole life. She was a sweet runt, and was always very active. She liked to sit on the couch and watch the outdoors #pets #petloss

We recently had to say goodbye to our cat after he was dealing with liver failure. It was so difficult and we miss him so much. He was a part of our family and he was very loved. I’m so glad he’s no longer suffering, but it’s still so hard to not have him with us anymore! Here are some tips for

I can’t look at your last photo. But I could never delete it either. 🤍
Because it’s not just a photo. It’s a moment when you were still here… and I had no idea how much I would miss that version of my life. Maybe one day I’ll look at it and see more than the day I lost you. Maybe I’ll see how lucky I was to have you at all. 🐾 If you still avoid certain photos

The hardest part about losing a pet isn’t saying goodbye.
It’s all the little moments afterward. Opening the door and forgetting, for a second, that they’re not there. Looking at their favorite spot. Having a good day and wishing you could tell them about it. And realizing you’ll never get one more ordinary day together. If you still miss them year

The moment they say “it was just a dog,” a piece of you dies all over again.
So you put on the mask. 🎭 You smile. You say you’re "just tired." You choke down the grief so they don't feel awkward. You become a master at making your heaviest loss look easy for everyone else to carry. But here is the raw truth: You didn’t lose an animal. You lost a family member.

If you weren’t there when your dog took their last breath, please hear this.
Your absence at the end does not erase your presence through their whole life. They knew your voice. They knew your footsteps. They knew what home felt like. And they knew they were loved. 🤍 If you’re still carrying guilt, regret, or words you never got to say… you’re not alone here. Welco

grief doesn’t live in the big moments.
it lives in the ten minutes before the day starts. in the habits you built around him without even realizing it. 🐾 what's the small thing you still do even though he's gone? drop it below. let's hold this together.❤️‍🩹 #dogloss #petgrief #deardog #petloss #griefsupport

He swallowed a piece of large bark and it’s stuck in his stomach. The vet told me there’s nothing he can do except perform surgery, but even then chances are slim. If you’d like to help, link in my profile bio. 🙏 How do you deal with grieving over a pet? #petloss #petsoflemon8 #animalslo

Our dogs carry every single memory of us..
They remember the long walks, the quiet evenings, the extra treats, and most importantly, the safety they felt in your arms. If you are missing your angel today, close your eyes for a second. Take a deep breath. They are safe, free from all pain, and forever grateful that you were their human.🕊️✨

Losing A Childhood Pet 🌈🐾🤍
This past October I lost my childhood dog Zoey. She was 16 years old and I am 21, so I don’t know life without her. There is a lot that is not talked about when it comes to losing a childhood pet. I think we tend to take them for granted, and not in a bad way I showed her I loved her everyday. But

He was with me through so many chapters of my life moving up and down the coast, big breakups, finding love again, getting engaged, becoming a mom. He was my constant through all of it. Some days I still forget he’s gone. I’ll walk through the door and for a split second expect him to be there,
