FIRST TRIP TO SOON BEE HUAT
our first trip to tile shopping was without our ID since she recommended that we go have a feel of what it’s like beforehand so off we went!
I was really taken aback at the choices available because there were SO MANY
pro tip: have a vision or idea of what you already want eg matte, glossy, smooth, rough tiles
also, if you wanna do marble gum flooring, let them know ahead so they can direct you to the right tiles cos not all tiles are able to do that!
we were also keen to do those tiled backsplash and our ID warned us that it was gonna be quite expensive due to the labour cost needed to tile it one by one but to my surprise, they have “pre-tiled” slabs available there too (last 3 pics) so I’m gonna check with my ID next if that’s something doable too
yet to decide on our tiles but first visit was pretty fruitful and we managed to get some sample tiles for those we shortlisted to bring back to our place to see if they work well for us!
