been wanting to try ume san for the longest time bc their concept is sooo cool 🕶️✨ 𝐁𝐔𝐓 the Q for non-reservation is quite 𝗻𝗼𝗻-𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 bc they prioritize their reservations + usually it’s 𝐅𝐔𝐋𝐋𝐘 𝐁𝐎𝐎𝐊𝐄𝐃 so please 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 to avoid disappointments/have backup plan!!
i went for the night/dinner concept, so i didn’t try the lunch menu ramen 🍜 unfortunately but i got ramen which was included in the dinner menu 🤣
upon entering the restaurant, it was 𝐖𝐀𝐘 smaller than imagined…from outside it definitely looked super spacious but it’s not 😭 but it does feel very cozy! initially we got offered the 𝐛𝐚𝐫 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐬 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 & got offered another high seating table (𝑤𝑒 𝑟𝑎𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟 𝑔𝑜 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ 𝑡ℎ 𝑒 𝑏𝑎𝑟 𝑠𝑒𝑎𝑡𝑠 𝑎𝑡𝑝 𝐿𝑂𝐿). there were 2 high seating tables beside us (𝑤𝑒 𝑤𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝑖𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑚𝑖𝑑𝑑𝑙𝑒) & the tables are quite close to each other tbvh & we could literally listened to other ppl’s convo but we are trying not to 🤡
onto the food!
🥩 wagyu fried rice (bf’s)⊹ 6/10
nth mindblowing except they used black rice & it tasted normal o_o
🐡 pufferfish karaage ⊹ 7/10
we wanted to try smth different aside from usual sides like fries etc & this was pretty good but only had 3 pieces which looked q pathetic 🥲
🍜 angry chashu ramen ⊹ 7/10
there’s only half egg & rather eat bugis’ keisuke ramen > this. nth mindblowing too…
🥃 whiskey tasting set ⊹ 9/10
i’d say this is quite worth bc all 3 of them is quite yummy!

presentation on point & 𝐈𝐓 𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊𝐒 𝐒𝐎 𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐓𝐓𝐘 𝐈𝐓 𝐇𝐀𝐒 𝐆𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐑 HAHA but it taste good too!
we had leftover drinks after finishing our mains so we decided to order fries in the end 🍟 coz…mouth itchy & mains wasn’t exactly filling. but the fries were pretty good. all in all, i’d give it a 7/10 for good vibes, drink + neutral food 🪄 i would only go back if there’s an occasion to celebrate/for some drinks after dinner (𝑒𝑙𝑠𝑒𝑤ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝑚𝑎𝑦𝑏𝑒?)
