The Little Things
#storytime #lemon8contest So Logan and I have kinda known kinda learned that we both struggle with communicating and we’ve had some fights because of it. With that said I won’t go into detail about the fights but each one has boiled down to that we feel unseen or unheard by the other in some way or another. We both hate fighting so with our last fight we came up with a plan. We have a single sheet of paper taped to our closet door which is a sliding wall length mirror so it’s in a place we’ll see everyday and it serves as a reminder for both of us that we need to try and voice what’s going on. It’s super hard neither of us like talking about our feelings so when we feel that way in our best way possible we try and be like hey I’m not feeling great about something you said or did but I don’t know how to talk about it right now, and the other has to be like okay what do you need do you need to just say it and let it out and then we dissect together or do you want some space to put your thoughts together stuff like that. Taking that extra minute to figure out what you need is super important to every relationship.
