my first time EVER doing an #OOTD! 🌸🫶🏽
im putting this out in the universe just to see how i started. and boy does it look awwwkward.😬 alot of retakes, falling back, cursing and frankly just so much uncomfortability with being in front of the camera, as if you cant tell lol. but this is part of the things i want to do so i gotta practice and practice i shall. 🫠🙃 i know i dont have any followers now but i hope someday i make progress that i recognize and i eventually get to share with some people. ☺️🫶🏽

Sharing my first #OOTD experience was a huge step for me, and I quickly realized that stepping in front of the camera isn’t as easy as it looks. Many creators often talk about the pressure to be perfect, but for me, it’s about embracing the awkward moments and being authentic. To anyone just starting out, my advice is to allow yourself grace—every retake, every stumble is part of the journey. One thing that made this experience even more meaningful was sourcing my clothes and shoes from Goodwill bins. Thrifting not only makes fashion more sustainable but also adds a unique twist to your outfits. You get to play with different styles and create looks that truly represent your personality without breaking the bank. I've also found that hashtags like #progressnotperfection and #outfitofthedayideas are great communities to engage with. They provide encouragement and inspiration, reminding us that everyone starts somewhere and that growth comes with consistent practice. It’s not about immediate followers, but about the progress we recognize in ourselves. For those hesitant about sharing their fashion journey, remember it’s perfectly normal to feel uncomfortable at first. With time, you’ll build confidence and enjoy the creativity involved. Keep experimenting with outfits, learn from each shoot, and most importantly, have fun with it. Fashion and content creation shouldn’t be about perfection but about self-expression and joy. Embracing imperfection has definitely been a game changer for me.
