During my recent visit to the Corner Bookstore on Madison Ave, one of New York City's popular bookstores, I was impressed by the sheer volume of books despite the small size of the store.
The bookstore is well-organized, making it a relaxing experience to browse through the collection.
I particularly enjoyed the selection of children's books, with a vast array of options to choose from.
The quiet and peaceful atmosphere of the store added to the overall experience, creating a library-like vibe.
While they do have a huge collection of books, I was looking for one book, The Mountain Is You, and I couldn't find it. I ended up finding it at another bookstore. This bookstore has some new books and a lot of older books, too.
If the store doesn't have the book you want, they'll happily order it for you and have it sent to your house.
For me, I prefer bigger bookstores so that you have the space to be by yourself and walk around and explore. This was a tight-spaced bookstore.

While I didn't find the specific book I was looking for, 'The Mountain Is You,' on my last trip, the staff mentioned they are always happy to order any book for you and have it shipped directly to your home. This is such a great service, especially for those harder-to-find titles or when you just want the convenience. It’s comforting to know that even if a book isn't on the shelf, it’s just an order away.
