Life Lately (Grad Student Diaries) 🔬👩🏻💻
Hello! Just sharing some glimpse of my life as a grad student. I am taking my MS right now but to be honest I'm thinking of shifting to MA. (I have a Bachelor's Degree in Education) As someone who is very passionate with learning and science, it is quite a hard decision. 🙏🏻
Ever since I became a study content creator, my passion for learning increased. I still love science, but somehow the entire learning process has always been a fascinating topic for me. It's actually exciting to learn about the mechanisms on how we learn best, studying different learning strategies that will help students learn better, how to facilitate learning as an educator, and so much more. 🫶🏻
I feel like I could also have more time for my creative side if I shift to MA. Being in the sciences takes up a lot of your time (STEM students can relate)! I admit I'm a bit of a nerd but I also want to get in touch with my creative side more. I also love taking photos, filming videos, and editing graphics. I guess that's why I enjoyed being a content creator so much, because it lets me explore my creative potentials.
I need to make up my mind soon!! Perhaps I should take a study break to think things through? I am still daydreaming of having the luxury of time to get my PhD. It's quite expensive and time consuming (and I have to work) so I hope I can save up and pursue this if I'll be blessed with the time and resources.
For now, I am enjoying the present! Appreciating the small things that makes life beautiful, spending time with the people I love, exploring my potentials, cutting off toxic people and toxic environments... I am grateful and hopeful!
