Grief💔

The day you left me, is the day part of me died along with you. The day I last saw you and realized things real and your not coming back, I wanted to fall to the floor and scream lord take me too!! I can’t do this without my granny! That was my everything people called me her twin! As weird as it may sound… I didn’t have friends I had a granny who I ran to and did everything with! Ft every night between 9 or 10 talked ,laughed , and always tried to plan a way to sneak to the casino! Oo days keep going and I just feel myself slowly losing interest in everything. Already dealing with health problems and trying to get a kidney transplant. This just added to the storm! Making me mad every day and angry! Oo I don’t know how I’ll get through this without you💔😢. I love your granny Mae Mae fly high 💙🕊️ Mary J Pratt! My Heart. Life PLLC

... Read moreLosing someone as close as a granny who was more like a best friend can truly shake the foundation of your world. From my own experience, I know that grief doesn’t follow a straight path; some days are heavier than others. It’s important to remember that feeling angry, sad, or even numb is part of the healing process. In my journey, staying connected to the memories and the special moments shared has been a comforting refuge. For instance, reminiscing about nightly chats or fun plans we made together helps keep her spirit alive in my heart. It also reminds me that although she isn’t physically present, the bond we shared continues to support me. On top of grief, managing a serious health condition like needing a kidney transplant adds another layer of difficulty. I found that focusing on small daily goals and seeking support from friends, family, or support groups made a significant difference. Whether it’s a phone call, sharing feelings openly, or simply distracting yourself with hobbies, these can provide relief and strength. It’s vital to be kind to yourself during this time. Healing isn’t linear, and there’s no right way to grieve. Whether you’re dealing with loss, health struggles, or both, remember you’re not alone—many people share similar feelings and challenges. Embracing your emotions and seeking help when needed is a testament to your resilience. Most importantly, hold on to hope for brighter days. Honoring your loved one by living fully, even through tough times, helps continue their legacy. My granny taught me the meaning of love and laughter, and even now, those lessons guide me daily. If you’re going through something similar, take it one moment at a time and know that healing is possible.

The second point, 'YOUR CHEST: HEAVY, TIGHT, LIKE SOMETHING IS PRESSING DOWN,' explains how grief can compress the chest, making breathing difficult, and suggests release through sobbing.

Grieving the loss of someone who’s still alive
Losing someone important to you due to their own choices can be one of the most difficult experiences any human could endure. The sheer part of letting go is the hardest. Why would you let go of someone that’s still there? Doesn’t that show YOU’VE given up? Or maybe you agree to the choice as well?
