PATTERNS / SELF-AWARENESS

You didn’t miss anything.

You noticed the inconsistency.

The shift in energy.

The small things that didn’t sit right.

But you gave it time.

You gave them grace.

You tried to understand instead of accept.

And that’s where you lost yourself.

Not in the situation…

but in the part where you stopped trusting you.

👉 Follow if you’re learning to trust yourself the first time.

4/25 Edited to

... Read moreFrom my own experience, learning to trust myself hasn't been a straightforward journey. Early on, I often ignored the little signs—the shift in someone's energy, inconsistent behavior, or that uneasy feeling in my gut—all because I wanted to give others the benefit of the doubt. Like the article mentions, I told myself "maybe I'm overthinking". But over time, that inner voice kept growing louder until I realized that those small signs were important. One critical lesson I've learned is that self-awareness isn't just about recognizing patterns in others' behavior but also about recognizing when I start doubting my own instincts. It's easy to get caught up in trying to understand people and situations, but if that comes at the cost of losing my own trust in myself, I end up confused and drained. The Muse Method's emphasis on trusting your intuition the first time really resonated with me. It’s about honoring those initial feelings and acknowledging them as valid signals, not just something to be second-guessed. This shift helped me set better boundaries and avoid situations that later proved problematic. Self-love and healing require patience, but they also require confidence in your self-awareness journey. When you stop ignoring those subtle inconsistencies and start trusting yourself, you empower your growth and create healthier relationships. I've found that journaling about my feelings and reflecting on those moments of doubt helped me reconnect with my inner guidance. To anyone learning to trust themselves for the first time: remember that those small moments of awareness are not to be dismissed. They are your intuition trying to protect you. Embrace the process of self-discovery, and give yourself grace—but don’t lose sight of your own voice along the way.
