Jeju Island has so much to offer beyond its famous windmills. One of my favorite experiences was visiting Gimnyeong Beach Lighthouse, which provided breathtaking panoramic views of the coastline perfect for photography enthusiasts. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, I recommend exploring the Aewol Coastal Road. The scenic drive along the coast is lined with quaint cafes, including Team Blow Cafe, a must-visit spot known for its inviting ambiance and delicious drinks. The sunset views here are spectacular and create a magical atmosphere that's perfect for unwinding. For those interested in local culture, Guoem-Gil in Aewol Eup is a charming place to stroll around and soak in the unique blend of traditional and modern vibes. Don’t miss trying some of the local delicacies and maybe even picking up a few Jeju souvenirs. If you’re planning your itinerary, consider including Udo Island for a day trip. It offers fantastic landscapes and a chance to experience a quieter side of Jeju, away from the main island crowds. The coastal roads around Sinchang Windmill offer fantastic photo opportunities, especially if you enjoy capturing natural beauty mixed with iconic structures. Overall, Jeju's combination of windmills, coastal roads, and cozy cafes like those on Aewol Street provided me endless moments of joy and inspiration during my summer trip. I highly recommend exploring these unique spots to anyone wanting a refreshing travel experience away from the hustle.
