😂 THE SELFISHNESS OF “BENEFICIAL LOGIC”
Some people don’t really have principles—they have Beneficial Logic. 😂🤣
Beneficial Logic is when something is completely reasonable as long as it benefits YOU. But let somebody else do the exact same thing? Suddenly it’s disrespectful, toxic, selfish, immature, and possibly worthy of a congressional investigation. 😂
“If I need space, I’m protecting my peace. If YOU need space, you’re acting funny.”
“If I don’t answer the phone, I’m busy. If YOU don’t answer, you’re ignoring me.”
“If I change my mind, I’m allowed to grow. If YOU change yours, you’re inconsistent.”
Baby… THAT AIN’T PRINCIPLES. That’s convenient morality. 😂
The Bible tells us in Philippians 2:3-4 to value others and not look only to our own interests. And Jesus said in Matthew 7:12 to treat people the way we want to be treated.
In other words: STOP MOVING THE GOALPOSTS JUST BECAUSE YOU’RE THE ONE KICKING THE BALL. 😂
Integrity means your standard doesn’t change depending on whether you’re the one receiving the benefit or paying the price.
Because if your logic only works when YOU win, that’s not wisdom.
That’s selfishness wearing a three-piece suit, carrying a Bible, and calling itself “common sense.” 😂🤣
Check yourself: Would you still believe it was right if the exact same situation benefited somebody ELSE instead of you?
That answer will tell you a whole lot about your character.
