😂🙏🏾 HANNAH — THE WOMAN WHO PRAYED THROUGH THE PAIN
Let’s talk about Hannah, because BABY… Hannah was going through it! 😂
This woman wanted a child, couldn’t have one, and had somebody constantly reminding her about it. Talk about emotional warfare! 😩 Some people don’t need a microphone—they can hurt your feelings with a LOOK and a sentence. 😂
But here’s what makes Hannah different.
She didn’t let disappointment turn into bitterness. She didn’t start plotting revenge. She didn’t create a fake Facebook account to stalk folks. 😂 She didn’t post, “God knows my heart” every 15 minutes while secretly planning somebody’s downfall.
Hannah took her pain to GOD.
1 Samuel 1 says she was so deeply distressed that she wept and prayed before the Lord. She poured out her soul.
And she was praying so intensely that Eli, the priest, thought she was DRUNK! 😂😂
Imagine being so emotionally overwhelmed in prayer that the pastor is like, “Ma’am… have you been drinking?”
Hannah basically said, “No sir. I’m not drunk. I’m just HURT.” 😭
And THAT is powerful.
Hannah teaches us that being a strong woman doesn't mean you never cry. It doesn't mean you always have everything together. It doesn't mean you walk around acting like, “I don’t need nobody!” 😂
Sometimes strength is admitting, “Lord, I’m tired. I’m disappointed. I don’t understand what You’re doing, but I’m still coming to You.”
And God heard her.
Hannah eventually gave birth to Samuel, who became one of Israel’s great prophets.
📖 1 Samuel 1
Her story reminds us:
You can cry AND still have faith.
You can be disappointed AND still trust God.
You can be frustrated AND still remain faithful.
You can be misunderstood AND still be heard by Heaven.
Hannah didn't let her pain become her identity.
She prayed through it.
And sometimes the strongest woman in the room isn't the loudest one.
She's the one who quietly says:
“God, I don't know HOW You're going to do it… but I know WHO I'm talking to.” 🙏🏾
Now THAT'S a strong woman. 💪🏾🔥
