😂🙏🏾 MY TOXIC TRAIT: I WANT TO SEE THE KARMA!
Listen… I KNOW vengeance belongs to the Lord. I know the Bible says, “Vengeance is mine; I will repay.” (Romans 12:19)
I KNOW I’m supposed to pray for my enemies. I KNOW I’m supposed to forgive. I KNOW I’m supposed to keep my heart right and let God handle the people who did me wrong.
BUT LORD… CAN I AT LEAST GET A FRONT-ROW SEAT?! 😂🤣
I don’t want revenge. I don’t want to touch them. I don’t want to plot, scheme, expose, or get even.
I just want to be somewhere peacefully minding my business when God starts handing out consequences and I’m sitting there like:
👀🍿 “Ohhh… so THAT’S what we’re doing today?”
Call it Divine Pay-Per-View. 😂
Because sometimes I don’t want to participate in the judgment—I just want to witness the lesson.
And let’s be honest… there’s a tiny, petty part of us that wants to see the person who lied on us, betrayed us, disrespected us, or tried to destroy us eventually realize:
“Yeah… I probably shouldn’t have done that.” 😂
But here’s the mature part: I don’t need to know when, where, or how God handles it.
My job is forgiveness.
My job is obedience.
My job is moving forward.
God’s job is justice.
So I’ll pray for you…
I’ll forgive you…
I’ll wish you well…
And then I’m going to respectfully mind my business.
If God happens to send me the highlight reel?
Well… Father, I didn’t ask for it. 😂🙏🏾🍿
