For example, in my own life, I found that trying to be everyone's problem solver drained my energy and blurred my sense of self. Once I accepted that I’m not called to rescue the world or constantly wear a heroic 'spiritual cape,' life became lighter and more joyful. It’s important to distinguish identity from purpose; our identity is who we are at the core, while our purpose is what we’re invited to do. When we anchor our identity not in others’ approval but in intrinsic worth—like being God’s workmanship, as mentioned in Ephesians 2:10—it fosters a secure foundation. This mindset shift helped me accept imperfections, mistakes, and growth as natural parts of life. Laughing at myself and embracing awkwardness became acts of self-love, not shame. Moreover, being authentic sometimes means not pleasing everyone, and that’s perfectly okay. You don’t have to be someone else’s "cup of tea" to be worthy. Instead, focus on genuine connections where you’re loved for who you are, not what you do. Living authentically also means humility—allowing yourself to be a work in progress and trusting a higher power to guide your transformation rather than carrying the weight alone. This blend of humility and faith has sustained me through challenges.
