🔥 WHO ARE YOU… REALLY?
Let’s talk about IDENTITY, because apparently everybody got an identity crisis these days. 😂 How do YOU know you are who you think you are? And no, posting “I’m healed, chosen and highly favored” every Tuesday doesn’t automatically make it so. 🤣
Me? I’d rather be Clark Kent than Superman. 😂🤷🏾♂️ Superman gotta save everybody, fight every villain, stop disasters, protect the city AND somehow still make it to work on time. Bruh… I’m good! 😂 I can barely remember why I walked into the kitchen. You want me saving Metropolis too?! 🤣
I’ve learned I’m not called to rescue everybody. I can’t fix everybody, carry everybody, solve everybody’s problems or be everybody’s emotional 911 operator. And honestly… I DON’T WANT THE JOB! 😂
There’s real peace in knowing people accept you for WHO YOU ARE—not just for what you can do for them. The Bible says, “For we are His workmanship” (Ephesians 2:10). My identity isn’t based on somebody’s approval, attention, expectations or whether I’m useful to them.
I’m not ashamed of being my genuine, authentic self. Am I perfect? Absolutely not. 😂 I’ve got some good in me, some questionable decisions in my history, and plenty of “Lord, please keep working on me” still under construction. 🤣🙏🏾
I’d rather be the REAL me than walk around wearing a spiritual cape pretending I have everything figured out. 😂
Know who you are. Know whose you are. And PLEASE don’t confuse your PURPOSE with your IDENTITY. Your purpose is what you’re called to DO. Your identity is who you ARE.
I’m still growing, still learning, still making mistakes and still laughing at myself. I’m comfortable being me—good, bad, awkward, boring, lame and occasionally a whole hot mess. 😂
And if you don’t like the real me? That’s okay. You weren’t assigned to be everybody’s cup of tea anyway. ☕🤣
Be authentic. Be humble. Let God keep working on you.
You don’t have to save the world.
Sometimes the biggest miracle is realizing God never asked you to. 🙏🏾😂
