😂🧠 WHAT DOES IT MEAN WHEN SOMEONE IS ALWAYS ON YOUR MIND?
Let’s be honest… sometimes you’re not even trying to think about them. You’re cooking—BOOM, there they are. 😂 Driving—there they go. At the gym—yep, somehow they made the workout too. You see a meme and immediately think, “They would laugh at this.” 🤦🏾♂️😂
But does constantly thinking about someone automatically mean you’re in love?
Not necessarily.
Sometimes it means you have feelings. Sometimes you miss them. Sometimes there’s unfinished business. Sometimes you’re emotionally attached. And sometimes your brain just refuses to mind its own business. 😂
Biblically speaking, what occupies your mind matters. Proverbs 4:23 tells us to guard our hearts, because what gets planted there eventually affects how we live.
So if somebody is constantly on your mind, don’t immediately assume, “God told me they’re my person!” 😂
Pray about it.
Ask yourself:
👉🏾 Do I genuinely care about this person?
👉🏾 Am I missing them—or missing how they made me feel?
👉🏾 Is this connection producing peace or confusion?
👉🏾 Am I thinking about them because there’s purpose there, or because I haven’t emotionally let go?
And here’s the part nobody wants to hear:
Just because someone stays on your mind doesn’t mean they belong in your life.
Sometimes God allows someone to remain on your mind long enough for you to learn the lesson, heal the wound, forgive the person, or finally release what you were trying to hold onto.
Philippians 4:8 reminds us to focus our thoughts on what is true, honorable, pure, lovely, and worthy of praise.
So yes, you can think about somebody.
Just don’t build an entire relationship in your head with someone who hasn’t built one with you in real life. 😂💯
Sometimes the thought is a sign to pursue.
Sometimes it’s a sign to pray.
And sometimes…it’s a sign to wait or let it go. 🙏🏾❤️🩹
