😂🧠 BE CAREFUL OF YOUR INTERNAL THOUGHTS… NOT EVERY VOICE IN YOUR HEAD IS GOD.
Let’s be honest—sometimes we have thoughts that sound SO spiritual, SO reasonable, and SO convincing that we automatically assume, “Yep… that must be God.” 😂
But hold up, beloved. 👀
Every thought doesn’t deserve a microphone.
Sometimes it’s your emotions talking. Sometimes it’s fear. Sometimes it’s pride. Sometimes it’s past trauma. Sometimes it’s what somebody said to you 10 years ago still living rent-free in your head. 😂
And yes… sometimes the enemy can use familiar thoughts to make something wrong sound right.
The Bible tells us to “test the spirits” (1 John 4:1) and reminds us that we are transformed by the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:2).
So just because a thought feels powerful doesn’t mean it came from God.
God’s voice will never contradict God’s Word.
If the thought says, “Get revenge,” but Scripture says vengeance belongs to God (Romans 12:19)… that ain’t Him.
If the thought says, “You’re worthless,” but Scripture says you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14)… that ain’t Him either.
If the thought says, “You need to control everything,” while God is telling you to trust Him (Proverbs 3:5-6)… somebody needs to be escorted out of the mental courtroom. 😂🚪
Discernment means learning the difference between God’s voice, your emotions, your desires, your fears, and outside influences.
Before you obey every thought that crosses your mind, pause and ask:
“Does this agree with God’s character and God’s Word?”
Because every thought that sounds spiritual… ain’t necessarily Holy Ghost. 😂🙏🏾
Guard your mind. Test the voice. Know the Word.
Your thoughts need discernment too. 🧠🔥
