Welcome adventurers
hello adventures,
I'm Misty, and I'm excited to finally introduce myself and my passion to the world. I'm a part-owner of AZA Studio, and although we haven't really taken off yet, I'm determined to make our dream a reality.
Nate is my best friend and the other owner of AZA Studio. He's the forever GM and will be making appearances from time to time. We've been wanting to get into cosplay for a while now, but health issues have held us back. However, with stability and therapy on the horizon, we're determined to make our small business dreams a reality.
Navigating social media can be overwhelming, I've been paralyzed by fear, but I'm ready to push past that and create a safe space for people to enjoy pretty things. In these uncertain times, it's important to take a break from all the social justice and chaos, and just appreciate the beauty around us.
My love for sewing, embroidery and tabletop games, has been a constant in my life, and recently, I've taken up watercoloring as a hobby. After a long day of sewing, or worldbuilding, it's so satisfying to create something new and not feel like I have to share it with the world. it's something just for me. I really love creating.
In an effort to minimize waste and avoid sending them to a landfill, I'll be repurposing the scraps from my sewing projects into mini embroidery and other scrap projects, like dice bags, quilt blocks, and lining fabric. As creating art can generate a significant amount of scraps, I'm committed to giving them a second life and reducing my environmental impact.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me and AZA Studio. I'm excited for what the future holds, and I can't wait to share my creations with you all.

Cosplay culture is thriving, with enthusiasts worldwide embracing creativity and inclusivity. Whether it's designing costumes or engaging in vivid role-playing, the community is all about expressing oneself and connecting over shared interests. As Misty and Nate venture into this exciting realm, they’re not only pursuing a small business dream but also contributing to a larger narrative that values creativity and sustainability. Repurposing materials in their projects aligns with the growing trend of eco-friendly crafting, where artists focus on minimizing waste and making conscious choices in their creative processes. This approach not only enhances the artistry of each piece but also resonates with a wider audience eager for environmentally responsible practices. In addition, the healing power of creativity has been emphasized increasingly, offering individuals a form of expression during challenging times. By creating a safe, supportive community, Misty and Nate aim to inspire others to connect through art, celebrate unique creations, and encourage sustainable practices within the craft ecosystem.
