This type of worm is common in Thailand and tropical countries. Specifically:

• According to fruit trees such as mango, longan, longong, jackfruit

• Trees in the forest or bushes

• Sometimes found on the ground, especially during the rainy season

The mother lays an egg under a leaf, and when it hatches, it becomes a worm in the picture.

Danger! Its thorns can release poison when touching the skin. May cause:

• Hot pain

• Red swelling

• Allergies are hives.

• Some people may develop severe allergies such as chest tightness, dizziness, or unconsciousness (but this is not common).

Initial antidote if hit

If someone accidentally touches or gets poisoned:

1. Do not rub or scratch. Because the thorns may be buried deeper.

2.Use clear adhesive tape, paste and pull out gently to peel off the thorns.

3. Wash the exposed area with soap and clean water for at least 5 minutes.

4.Use cold compress, reduce swelling

5. Take antihistamine, such as chlorpheniramine, if rash or itchy.

6. If symptoms do not improve in 1-2 hours or have severe symptoms (dizziness, shortness of breath), go to the hospital immediately.

• Use a long stick / piece of wood to knock out the walkway

• Put on thick gloves (such as two-layer rubber gloves) and hold the bag closed.

• Do not step barefoot, for thorns may bounce into the skin.

✅ 2. Spray biological agents (most recommended)

• Use Bacillus thuringiensis, a natural bacterium that kills only worms.

• Evening or morning spray because the sun will destroy the infection quickly

• Dishwashing Soap Water (No Fragrance Recipe) = 2 tablespoons

• vegetable oil (palm oil or soybean oil) = 1 tablespoon

• Clean water = 1 liter

How to use:

1.Mix everything together in a spraying bottle

2. Shake well before using every time

3. Spray on the worm and under the leaves on it.

4. Repeat every 2-3 days if you see a new one

• Odors and spicy effects will disrupt the worm's respiratory system.

• Spray in the sun (morning / evening) will help the active substance last longer.

• Do not spray when the rain is near, because the water will wash up.
