Series: My fave places to eat in ATL

When you see the $150+ per person price tag, you might wonder, "Is it really worth it?" And my answer, after experiencing it firsthand, is a resounding yes, if you go in with the right expectations. This isn't your casual Tuesday night dinner; it's where you go to mark a special occasion, impress a date, or simply treat yourself to a luxurious escape. Let's talk about the ambiance first. The restaurant, while intimate, is impeccably designed, creating an atmosphere that feels both exclusive and welcoming. Dim lighting, plush seating, and tasteful decor contribute to a sophisticated vibe that instantly sets the mood. It’s perfect for those Instagrammable moments without feeling overly stuffy. The dress code, which I initially found a bit strict, actually adds to the elevated feel. Parking in Midtown can be a nightmare, and Steak Market is located on a major road with limited options. I cannot stress this enough: *valet your car*. Seriously. Just factor the valet fee into your budget, it's a small price to pay for peace of mind. Also, a quick tip for comfort: those gorgeous, sky-high heels might look amazing, but if you're planning on walking around or just want to be comfortable throughout the evening, consider a chicer, more stable option. While I mentioned the Tomahawk steak was decent, it’s truly massive and perfect for sharing – don't attempt it alone unless you have an enormous appetite! But the real standout dishes for me were the Seafood Tower, which was an absolute visual and culinary delight with its fresh, perfectly prepared selections, and the Short Ribs. Oh, the short ribs! They melted in your mouth, rich and flavorful, a testament to slow cooking perfection. And don't skip the Garlic Fries – they're dangerously addictive. The specialty cocktails are also fantastic, expertly crafted and a great way to kick off or complement your meal.
