Life lately and my unfiltered thoughts - struggles

Helu zesties 🍋

I hope all are doing great, I have been feeling kinda shitty ngl and really lost and unmotivated :(

I know you guys will be like take a break!!

I did!! I went to Vietnam in may and bali recently.. But my mind is just not at ease, sigh it's so anxious and keep overthinking about stupid things, I can't really fall asleep and I keep falling sick 🙁 every week I have been feeling like shit.

Dating update.. I rejected the new guy because I realised the more I got to know him the more it didn't feel right. I kept feeling anxious around him, probably because... I feel like I have to make the connection work even though I wasn't sure about him yet. He treated me super well but I just felt something was off :/ like he wasn't genuine with me and my body kept feeling that. (our kisses didn't feel like we were truly connecting either)

I guess right now my body is still in fight or flight mode and I have been having issues every day whether it's flu, tummy upset or etc. :(

Im not gonna date anymore for now it feels too tiring and I think I gotta heal a little now, too much energy wasted on the wrong people and forgetting who I really wanna be.

---

Career wise I have been feeling a bit stagnant... Like I have so many side projects I wanna do but the fear of failure has been holding me back.. And I always struggle with taking up space, speaking up and being confident in my own thoughts and views :/

These side projects in mind need a lot of those skills so I guess because I keep falling sick too I keep putting those off 🤒

If you have read till here... Just a few random questions for yall based on things that I wanna do in the future 👀,

If I created and illustrated zines on self love and relationship topics would you guys be interested in that?

AnD

How do yall feel about the therapy industry/mental health scene in Singapore? Do yall think more can be done currently, anything you guys would want to see?

---

I feel like I'm in a transformation period of my life?? Like shedding old shit and changing and growing but it feels so freaking scary, being 24 really do be giving me quarter life crisis 😰

IF U GUYS have any advice feel free to DM me and chat c: ❤️❤️

... Read moreBeyond just sharing my current state of feeling lost and unmotivated, I want to open up about what’s been helping me navigate these tough days. When I feel stuck in anxious thoughts, I try simple grounding techniques—focusing on my breath, journaling unfiltered thoughts, or even just stepping outside for fresh air. Overthinking is exhausting, but acknowledging it instead of pushing it away has been a small relief. In terms of dealing with physical health while emotionally strained, I’ve noticed how intertwined they are. When my body feels sick or tired, my mental energy dips even further. Prioritizing rest feels like a radical act of self-love, especially in a culture that glorifies constant productivity. Taking breaks without guilt is a practice I hope to deepen. Dating has been especially draining lately. I've realized how important it is to listen to my intuition—sometimes the most courteous people just aren't the right fit energetically or emotionally. Choosing not to force connections has been tough but necessary for my peace of mind. It’s okay to wait until I feel genuinely ready and safe to open up again. Regarding career and personal projects, fear of failure often holds me hostage. I’m learning to redefine failure not as an end, but as a stepping stone toward growth. Sharing ideas with supportive friends has motivated me to take small actionable steps rather than waiting for perfection. Lastly, I’m curious how others feel about mental health support in places like Singapore. Access to therapy and stigma around mental health remain major topics. More community conversations, affordable resources, and less judgment could make a difference. If you’ve explored this, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Life at 24 can feel like a wild rollercoaster, full of uncertainties and self-discovery. To anyone else feeling the weight of their journey—you’re seen and heard. Healing isn’t linear, but we can move forward, step by step, together.
