EASY & BEAUTIFUL Puff Pastry Snowflake❄️❄️
❄️3 Sheets of Puff Pastry
❄️Choice of Nutella, jam or cinnamon sugar … I’ve also done garlic herbs & cheese
❄️1 large egg beaten
👩🍳 Directions
➡️ Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
➡️ Lightly flour your work surface then unfold all sheets of puff pastry
➡️ Using a rolling pin, lightly roll each sheet to seal together any perforations
➡️ Cut each sheet of puff pastry into 9-inch circle
➡️ Place one of the circles on the prepared baking sheet.
➡️ Spread sauce spread evenly onto puff pastry circle, leaving ½ inch border around the edges of the circle
➡️ Place the second puff pastry circle on top
➡️ Place a glass or Mason jar face-down in the center of puff pastry.
➡️ Use a sharp knife to cut pastry into 4 equal strips, stopping at the border of the glass.
➡️ Cut through each quarter to make 8 strips, then once more to produce a total of 16 equal strips, while keeping the center intact.
➡️ Twist 2 strips away from each other; pull outward and seal seams together.
➡️ Repeat with remaining strips until pastry resembles a star. Brush top with beaten egg.
➡️ Bake in the preheated oven until puffy and golden brown, 20-25 minutes.
➡️ Remove from the oven and set it aside to cool slightly before dusting it with confectioners sugar and serving
