When did dollar tree get pricey?!
I used to love walking around the dollar tree. Things were only $1. I know they went up to the $1.25 and that wasn’t terrible. But now there are times $5 and up. I went yesterday with my mom and I was baffled to see items $10-$25?!? 😳 Like what!
My store has two aisles for “more than $1” and really, it felt like walking through the back of five below. My five below has a $10 and up section in the back.
I understand inflation and things are expensive nowadays. But man, I really miss the days the dollar tree was merely that … a dollar.
Does your dollar tree have these aisles for more pricey items? I’m so curious to know how everyone else’s nearby stores are laid out. I always see some stores having great things but I really feel like the one I go to is so “meh”.
