He touches everything in the apartment...
My roommate uses the bathroom like three or four times a day, and he always leaves the door from his bathroom to his bedroom wide open. I can hear every little sound in there plus he never flushes when he’s done. The worst part, when he walks out, I’ve tried saying something about washing his hands and he’ll just hold his unwashed hands right near my face before walking off like it’s a joke.
He says he’s not gross because he never gets anything on his hands when he wipes, unlike “everyone else.” Says it’s ridiculous I’m asking him to wash up. “It’s only my right hand, anyway.” Then he hits me with “Have you gotten sick from me yet? No.”
I told him he touches everything in the apartment with those hands like door knobs, the fridge, the remote and he just insisted his hands are clean after wiping. I feel like I’m losing my mind. Shared space hygiene shouldn’t be this hard, how do you argue with someone who ignores basic sense and makes you feel crazy?
