Rhode blush for blonzer

If you guys haven’t tried anything from Rhode yet (shocking) let this be your sign to! You should all try sleepy girl from their blush selection. Not only is the formula of this product so perfect and seamless and glowy, but the shade is so beautiful. It’s great for summer and really gives off the “blonzed” look. Sometimes if I want to go a bit pinker I mix it with other products and that way my bronzer blends seamlessly. I swear by this product!!

... Read moreOkay, so if you're like me and always on the hunt for that perfect sun-kissed glow without actually baking in the sun, you NEED to hear about Rhode's Sleepy Girl blush. I was skeptical at first, but this little cylindrical makeup stick has completely changed my game! It's not just a blush; it's an experience, especially for achieving that coveted 'blonzed' look. What exactly is 'blonzed'? Think of it as the best parts of a bronzer and a blush combined – that healthy, flushed, and slightly sun-kissed warmth that makes you look like you just returned from a dreamy vacation. The Sleepy Girl shade, which is this gorgeous reddish-brown, is absolutely perfect for this. It’s not too orange like some bronzers, and not too pink like a traditional blush. It hits that sweet spot that mimics a natural tan with a hint of warmth. Applying it is a dream. The formula is incredibly creamy and just glides onto the skin. I usually dot it directly onto the apples of my cheeks and then blend it out with my fingers or a damp sponge. It melts into the skin seamlessly, leaving a luminous finish rather than a sticky or patchy one. For a subtle application, less is definitely more, but it's also buildable if you want a bit more intensity. I’ve found it plays really well with both my foundation and my other cream products, creating a cohesive, glowing complexion. I’ve got fair skin, and sometimes finding a blush that doesn't look too stark or clown-like is a challenge. Sleepy Girl, however, gives me this beautiful, natural flush that looks like my skin, but better. I’ve also seen it on friends with medium and deeper skin tones, and it looks equally stunning, providing a warm, healthy glow that really brightens up their complexion. It’s truly a universal shade in my opinion, adapting beautifully to different undertones. Sometimes, if I want to switch it up and go for a slightly pinker vibe, I’ll mix a tiny bit of Sleepy Girl with a dab of a brighter pink cream blush. This creates a custom shade that still has that 'blonzed' depth but with an added pop of color. It's incredibly versatile! I've even dabbed a tiny bit on my eyelids for a monochromatic, put-together look. This product isn't just a blush; it's become a makeup routine staple for me. It's user-friendly, gorgeous, and delivers that perfect, effortless radiance every single time.
